How to Delete Your Farmony Account

We respect your right to control your personal data. You can request deletion of your Farmony account and all associated data using any of the methods below.

Method 1: Delete from the App

The quickest way to delete your account:

  1. Open the Farmony app on your device
  2. Go to Profile (bottom navigation bar)
  3. Tap Settings (gear icon)
  4. Scroll down and tap Delete Account
  5. Confirm your decision when prompted

Method 2: Request via Email

If you no longer have access to the app or are unable to delete your account through the app, you can request account deletion by emailing us:

Subject: Account Deletion Request

Include: The phone number or email address associated with your Farmony account so we can locate and process your request.

What Data Gets Deleted

When you delete your Farmony account, the following data will be permanently deleted:

  • Your profile information (name, email, phone number)
  • Profile photo
  • Equipment listings you have created
  • Messages and chat history
  • Ratings and reviews you have given
  • Saved preferences and settings
  • Location history
  • Device and usage data linked to your account

What Data May Be Retained

Certain data may be retained for a limited period after account deletion for the following legitimate reasons:

  • Transaction records: Payment and transaction history may be retained for up to 90 days after deletion to comply with financial regulations and resolve any pending disputes.
  • Legal compliance: Data required to comply with applicable laws, tax obligations, or regulatory requirements may be retained as mandated by law.
  • Fraud prevention: Anonymized data may be retained to prevent fraud, abuse, or violations of our Terms of Service.

All retained data will be permanently deleted or anonymized within 90 days of the account deletion request, unless a longer retention period is required by law.

Processing Timeline

  • In-app deletion: Your account will be deactivated immediately. All associated data will be permanently deleted within 30 days.
  • Email requests: We will acknowledge your request within 3 business days and complete the deletion within 30 days of confirmation.

Consequences of Deletion

Please be aware that deleting your account will:

  • Permanently remove all your data from Farmony
  • Cancel any active equipment listings or bookings
  • Remove your ratings, reviews, and trust score
  • Revoke access to the Farmony app and all associated services

This action is irreversible. If you wish to use Farmony again in the future, you will need to create a new account.
