By accessing or using the Farmony mobile application and website (collectively, the "Platform"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the Platform.

2. About Farmony

Farmony is a platform that enables farmers to share agricultural equipment with each other. We facilitate connections between equipment seekers and providers but do not own, operate, or maintain any farm equipment listed on the Platform.

3. Eligibility

To use Farmony, you must:

  • Be at least 18 years of age
  • Be capable of entering into a legally binding agreement
  • Provide accurate and complete registration information
  • Not have been previously suspended or removed from the Platform

4. User Accounts

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You agree to:

  • Provide accurate, current, and complete information
  • Update your information to keep it accurate and current
  • Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access to your account
  • Not share your account with others or create multiple accounts

5. Equipment Listings

5.1 For Equipment Providers

If you list equipment on Farmony, you agree to:

  • Provide accurate descriptions and photos of your equipment
  • Ensure your equipment is in safe, working condition
  • Set fair and transparent pricing
  • Honor confirmed bookings
  • Maintain proper insurance and licenses as required by law

5.2 For Equipment Seekers

If you rent equipment through Farmony, you agree to:

  • Use equipment responsibly and as intended
  • Return equipment on time and in the same condition
  • Report any damage or issues immediately
  • Not sub-rent or transfer equipment to third parties
  • Pay all agreed-upon fees promptly

6. Payments and Fees

All payments are processed through our secure payment system. By using the Platform, you agree to:

  • Pay all applicable fees for equipment rentals
  • Farmony may charge a service fee for facilitating transactions
  • Refund policies are subject to the specific terms of each transaction
  • You are responsible for any taxes applicable to your transactions

7. Prohibited Conduct

You agree not to:

  • Use the Platform for any unlawful purpose
  • Post false, misleading, or fraudulent information
  • Harass, abuse, or harm other users
  • Circumvent the Platform to avoid fees
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Platform or its systems
  • Use automated means to access or interact with the Platform
  • Infringe on the intellectual property rights of others

8. Limitation of Liability

Farmony acts as a marketplace connecting farmers and does not guarantee the quality, safety, or legality of equipment listed on the Platform. To the maximum extent permitted by law:

  • We are not liable for any damages arising from equipment use, including personal injury or property damage
  • We are not responsible for disputes between users
  • Our total liability shall not exceed the amount of fees paid by you to Farmony in the preceding 12 months

9. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Farmony, its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses arising from your use of the Platform, violation of these Terms, or infringement of any rights of another party.

10. Intellectual Property

The Farmony name, logo, and all related marks, content, and materials on the Platform are owned by or licensed to Farmony. You may not use, copy, or distribute any of our intellectual property without prior written permission.

11. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account at any time if you violate these Terms or for any other reason at our discretion. Upon termination, your right to use the Platform ceases immediately. You may also delete your account at any time through the app settings.

12. Dispute Resolution

Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the Platform shall be governed by the laws of India. Disputes shall be resolved through good-faith negotiation first, followed by arbitration in accordance with the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996, if necessary.

13. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of significant changes by posting a notice on the Platform or sending you a notification. Your continued use of the Platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
